We'll have to have a word with the server provider. Sorry is all I can say :/

We've just done a quick test with some edited server settings which we'll test over the next couple of weeks before Imola. Early signs are good, so we'll see if Hostile Contact will...not notice. Wink

That's odd... I exited after Q and when I relaunched the game Steam said there was an update (probably a bug fix) but it let me continue without downloading it thankfully.

Race was pretty... something. Replacement teammate stalls on the grid right in front of me though I swiftly dodge him and score some spots anyways. Got up to 2nd from 9th after some more carnage and then dropped back to 9th on a 2 stop strategy - only for one of the Minardi's to run out of fuel giving me an 8th place finish... so in other words, I did absolutely nothing when you account for the stalled car. Laughing

Race was a lot cleaner, the start seemed smoother than last week connection wise as well, just some relatively minor "skittering" is all I saw.

It was a quite fun race overall with the most disappointing, character destroying race end to me haha

Had massive FPS lag on the start due to smoke. Will either fix my good PC or turn smoke off for next time.

Rather sweaty after that one, fuuuu- :p
Firm, clean racing from everyone I encountered and the differing strategies made it very challenging.
Mad props to Bailey for recovering to 2nd after that quick trip into low Earth orbit, Harrison for putting in a cracking effort to steal 3rd on a 2 stop, and all point scorers/finishers!

I look forward to Imola in a fortnights time!

Soo I had my moment to calm down from that. Again, apologies to Jimmy, I made contact (not even once :'( ) with the back of his car, expecting a penalty from it, I was really stupid. Need to learn to calm do and not drive this as if its the Formula Touring Car Championship.

To the event though, Scott (teamie for this round) did a fantastic job in quali to get 3rd (became 2nd). Me however, I was much slower than I should have been, on the softs I should have been much further forward. That's on me.

The race was interesting, need to get the hang of how much fuel to actually put in the car on the stops cause I'm losing a bit of time with it, but I'm really enjoying trying to work out when to pit to under cut people and things Very Happy all interesting and completely unique. May have to also learn how to start properly for Imola as I feel I'm really going to need it.

I do also hope we get this server stuff sorted, cause I find it sometimes hard to tell exactly what is going on with the people around you in the races. So fingers crossed these new server settings with a bit of testing work Smile

What a fun race. Battles throughout. Good start and then passed Bailey on lap 2 and got a gap thanks to Mclaren. Mills caught up and went past, Bailey was out of reach as well. Nice fight with Kyran towards the end. So Happy with a Podium. Very Happy Very Happy

I had some fun fights with April, and the various Adams around me Smile

All very clean and fair racing in the midfield!

First post updated with stewards report. I'd also like to add, if something hasn't been mentioned in the report, it's because we haven't seen it. We can't see every little thing that happens in a race, so if there's something you want looking at, please PM myself or Jimmy so we can pass it on to the stewards.

Rather delayed, but here's the point of view from the back of the grid:
